Asphalting work before the onset of winter
/ News / Press Release
Especially in higher-altitude destinations, it is important to complete asphalting work before the first snowfall. Our asphalt team was on site in Zürs-Lech and Thüringerberg at the end of October, right on schedule.
In Zürs-Lech, the new “scanner lane” was paved just before the Zürs biomass heating plant. Here, trucks can park and wait to enter the biomass heating plant. In Thüringerberg, an access road and forecourts were paved just in time.
Our asphalt team was also busy in Nüziders and Riefensberg. The Kuhbrückweg was partially milled out and the milled surface was repaved. A farm road and a farm entrance were paved in Riefensberg for a road association.
In Koblach and Weiler, not only our asphalt employees were at work, but also our paving team led by master paver Jörg Kröll. Grading, asphalting, and paving work was carried out at both construction sites.
There's a lot going on in our asphalt department!
