Extensive construction work is currently underway on Kreuzstraße. As part of the development measures, pipes and cables for local heating, water, drainage, VKW electricity, gas, street lighting, and fiber optics have already been laid.
In preparation for the planned planting, we have installed a special root space based on the sponge city principle. This system improves the infiltration and storage of rainwater and creates optimal conditions for the growth of the new trees.
A cast-in-place concrete retaining wall is currently being constructed, while work is also underway on the foundations for the prefabricated elements, which will be delivered next week.
