Two interested primary school classes visit us
/ News / Press Release
Before the end of the school year, the third grade class from Weiler Elementary School visited our branch to marvel at the work being done on the new building yard. The 21 pupils and their two accompanying adults were first given an explanation of the individual companies and their areas of activity before everyone was able to get an overview of the construction site from the terrace. After some light refreshments in the form of pastries, muffins, etc., they went on a tour of the construction site.
The kids were particularly impressed by the large machines, with the highlight being the opportunity to sit in the wheel loader or excavator. At the end, numerous questions were answered and the kids were given goodies consisting of a backpack, cap, T-shirt, etc., which they were particularly happy about.
Shortly afterwards, class 4a, also from Weiler Elementary School, visited us. After a delicious breakfast, we made our way to the roof terrace, which offers a great view of the entire company premises. As the teacher wanted to talk about resources and the environment, Alexander Bär, our contact person for recycling, explained the circular economy to the children and how old materials are used to make new ones in construction.
The wheel loaders and excavators were also the highlight for this class, who were able to marvel at them from the inside and outside. Equipped with goodies, they then visited our building yard before setting off home in high spirits on their bikes.
Many thanks to the teachers, students, and accompanying adults for their interest and visit!
