In 2021, Nägele Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH has once again been awarded the ÖKOPROFIT certificate as an environmentally friendly company, now for the 15th consecutive year.
Sustainability and social responsibility are becoming increasingly important worldwide and have been practised and lived at Nägele Hoch- und Tiefbau for years. In order to translate values and standards into controlled measures, a detailed key performance indicator system has been developed over the years. This enables targeted improvements to be made on construction sites and in internal processes. For example, the machinery is constantly kept up to date and CO2 consumption is continuously reduced. Thanks to advancing digitalisation, the goal of a ‘paperless construction site’ is also getting closer and closer.
Major investments are being made in sustainability in the new construction of the head office in Sulz in order to achieve the ÖGNI seal of approval in the usage profile for new office and administration buildings, version 2017, in the DGNB Gold quality class.
The following components of the planning contribute significantly to the achievement of this objective:
Geothermal energy system including controlled ventilation
Extensive green roofs on all roof areas
Elevated photovoltaic system on the roof area above the 2nd floor
E-charging station for cars and bicycles
Green drainage areas
Extensive planting concept in the parking area
Direct connection to the Vorarlberg cycle path network in cooperation with the municipality of Sulz
- Covered waste collection point
We would like to thank all our employees who actively contribute to the realisation of our goals and values and make us a sustainable and successful ÖKOPROFIT company.
