Apprentice outing with two highlights
/ News / Press Release
At the beginning of September, our Nägele apprentices went on their second apprentice outing of the year!
Together with the apprentice team, we set off early in the morning for Germany to visit the Klosterbeuren brickworks, which dates back over 200 years. The theoretical introduction was accompanied by a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to visit the impressive, modern robot-controlled brickworks and the clay pit. It was very interesting for our apprentices to see how a brick is made, from clearing the clay to the firing process.
Back in Vorarlberg, we enjoyed lunch at the Max und Moritz brewery restaurant with a magnificent view of Lake Constance and fortified ourselves for the highlight of the afternoon. Our apprentice excursion coordinator Alexander Wurzer took us to Dornbirn for canyoning with High 5. After the safety briefing, our adrenaline levels rose as we overcame obstacles, abseiled down rocks and jumped into the water from a considerable height, equipped with wetsuits, helmets and climbing harnesses. The tour through the unique natural gem of Kobelach lasted four hours and was great fun for all participants.
Thanks to the organising team, Alexander Wurzer and Simone Martin, as well as our works council member Simon Lehninger, who generously supported the trip!
