/ News / Press Release

On Friday, 15 April 2022, after a two-year break due to the coronavirus pandemic, our apprentice team day finally took place again.

We met on Friday morning in the new office building on Industriestraße, where we were given a brief introduction and breakfast. Then we drove together to Hohenems to the Escape Room. There, lots of puzzle fun awaited us in three different escape rooms. The different rooms had mystical names such as Vampire Castle, Room 1408 and Barbossa's Curse. Each group was assigned to a room for 60 minutes and had to solve various puzzles with a lot of teamwork and brainpower so that we could gradually find our way back to freedom.

This clearly demonstrated how important and helpful teamwork is. Accordingly, this teamwork can also be transferred to everyday life on construction sites.

Afterwards, we drove together to Gisingen to the go-kart track. There we had the opportunity to feel like racing drivers for an hour and breathe in the smell of petrol. It quickly became clear after the first few laps who really had petrol in their blood. First, we drove in two groups and the group winners were chosen. In the first group, Alessandro Fuchs, Lukas Wokurek and Aline Peter were the fastest. The lap winners in the second group included Michael Allgäuer, Elias Kaufmann and Alexander Wurzer. Afterwards, the fastest from both groups were sent onto the race track together. The lucky winners were Michael Allgäuer in 1st place, Elias Kaufmann in 2nd place and Lukas Wokurek in 3rd place.

Visibly exhausted, we ended the day at the workshop in Rankweil, where culinary refreshments awaited us.

All the apprentices and the entire apprentice team showed great commitment and enthusiasm. A big thank you goes to the entire apprentice team, especially Simone Martin for the organisation, and to our works council representative Simon Lehninger, who generously supported our team day.
