New equipment in use in asphalt construction

We have been using the innovative “Sprayjet” since July 21, and it is making our asphalt workers' jobs easier. The new device can be used as a spray paver and also as a conventional paver. Since the emulsion is sprayed directly during installation, an entire work step is eliminated. With its five spray bars, it enables gap-free emulsion application and, at the same time, higher quality binder/top layers.
Current use of the new equipment
Spray jets are currently in use on the A14 Nenzing. There, the asphalt is being renovated in three sections and re-laid with a three-layer structure. On the A14/S16, spray jets are being used to renew and widen the highway/expressway and the exit towards Montafon. Here, too, the asphalt is being laid in three layers.
