Night Shift on the L52 Meininger Straße
/ News / Press Release
Last week, during the night from Monday to Tuesday, we began the removal and milling work on the L52 Meininger Straße. At the same time, that same night, the existing curbs on the bridge were carefully removed, cleaned, and temporarily stored to the side.
On the second night, additional milling work was carried out at various depths. At the same time, the curbstones that had been temporarily stored were realigned and laid precisely in a straight line on the bridge.
That same night, approximately 1,000 m² of base course was laid—ensuring that traffic remained largely unaffected during the day and continued to flow smoothly.
The project was completed during the nights from Thursday to Friday and from Friday to Saturday, when over 10,000 m² of the wearing course were laid.
The road is now fully open again—and traffic can once again use the L52 as usual.
