New Rankweil golf clubhouse

The Montfort Rankweil Golf Club is located in the âRankweil Weitriedâ plain, deep in the heart of the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley. In addition to its central location, the beautiful landscaping is a special feature of the complex. In the summer of 2013, NĂ€gele Hoch-und Tiefbau was commissioned to carry out the construction work for the new clubhouse, which was to blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
The building was planned by Schlins-based building designer Wolfgang MĂ€hr. In addition to an underground car park and changing rooms for members, the new clubhouse also houses the offices of the Rankweil Golf Club. But the real highlight is the restaurant with its spacious terrace. This area offers breathtaking views of the entire golf course and the surrounding mountains.

A new clubhouse for the Montfort Rankweil Golf Club.
From a structural engineering perspective, the curved shapes of the walls and ceiling finishes and the construction of the two strongly inclined wings of the uppermost ceiling posed a particular challenge. The specified short construction period required the involvement of a large team and flawless preparations. This was no problem for NĂ€gele Hoch- und Tiefbau â the building was handed over to the highly satisfied client as early as June 2014.
