During the construction of the outdoor and garden facilities for the primary school and nursery in Bezau, the aim was to design the outdoor areas to be both functional and attractive, whilst at the same time creating versatile recreational and play areas for the children.
As part of the construction work, the access paths were rebuilt using precast concrete elements. In addition, the project team supplied and installed precast benches, which provide additional seating and relaxation areas in the outdoor space. The surfaces were finished with asphalt and concrete paving, creating a connection between the different areas of the plant to form a functional whole. Another centre of gravity of the project was the construction of the new playground. Together with the landscaping of the entire outdoor area, a versatile open space was created around the primary school and nursery.
With the new outdoor and garden facilities, the local authority now has a contemporary environment for the primary school and nursery, with a connection between accessibility, recreational spaces, play areas and green spaces.
